The Camden New Journal reported West Hampstead residents' frustration at the Council’s lack of action in tackling an anti-social behaviour hot-spot on Billy Fury Way, off Lithos Road, after new Lib Dem councillor Janet Grauberg highlighted the issue.
Janet said “Drug-related anti-social behaviour was one of the biggest issues raised during the recent by-election campaign. I was scheduled to ask a formal Oral Question at my first Council Meeting last month, but wasn’t called to speak. It seems the Labour lead for Community Safety was sick and no-one else was willing to deputise.”
Janet has already got the Director of Community Safety to walk the patch with her, and secured a meeting with the Police Superintendent who covers Camden Borough. Local campaigner Patrick Stillman and Janet will continue to push for improvements to this area.
