Camden Lib Dems pay tribute to Alderman Flick Rea MBE
All of us here at Camden Lib Dems are mourning the loss of Alderman Flick Rea MBE. Flick was a stalwart of Camden, serving as a Fortune Green councillor for 35 years. She was a founding member of various local groups, including West Hampstead Amenity & Transport (WHAT), as well as the Friends of Hampstead Cemetery and West Hampstead Library. Flick held a predominant role in Camden Council's planning committee, and supervised the revamp of Kentish Town Baths. She was also a long-standing key organiser of the annual Jester Festival on Fortune Green (which will be held this year on the 4th July). Flick was an inspiration, mentor, and friend to all of us and will be sorely missed. The Camden New Journal have compiled a variety of tributes to Flick from her friends and loved ones - you can read them here.
