Sunil Hiranandani
Sunil lives in Hampstead and is standing because he believes that local government should be more responsive, more accountable, and more focused on delivering real outcomes for residents. Across Camden and in Gospel Oak, residents should know that their council tax is being spent wisely, and as councillor, Sunil would push for greater transparency, stronger financial discipline, and a clear focus on delivering high-quality services efficiently.
Those outcomes affect all of us. Everyone deserves to feel safe where they live, and Sunil is committed to working closely with local police and community groups to tackle anti-social behaviour and improve street lighting and visibility.
Professionally, Sunil’s career has taken him from senior roles at HSBC to advising within HM Treasury, where he worked on economic policy, infrastructure investment, and public-private partnerships. More recently, he has been running my own advisory practice and building a small business, giving me first-hand experience of the challenges facing both organisations and individuals today. While his professional background is global, his focus is local. Living in Camden, Sunil experiences every day the issues that matter most to residents, whether it’s community safety, access to healthcare, or the cost and quality of local services.
