Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Spokesperson Katie Mansfield and Cllr. Linda Chung have written to Alderman Gregory Jones demanding transparency over the City of London Corporation's controversial decision to replace independent café operators at Hampstead Heath with Daisy Green, a business operating over 20 sites across London.

The letter raises concerns about the lack of public consultation and the short notice given to long-standing operators like the D'Auria family, who must vacate by end of January despite significant community support. Katie questions how Daisy Green qualifies as "independent" and demands publication of the full bidding process evaluation criteria, including how community value, local character, and economic impact were weighted in the decision.

Katie is continuing to press for answers on behalf of concerned Hampstead residents who deserve to know how this decision was made.
