Katie Mansfield Calls Out Labour's A&E Shame

Parliamentary Spokesperson Katie Mansfield and the Liberal Democrats are demanding a new law to prevent anyone having to wait more than 12 hours at A&E.

A&E waiting times under Keir Starmer’s Labour Government have spiralled out of control. Last year alone 38,830 people were left waiting for 12+ hours in the Royal Free Hospital. Across England it was more than 1.5 million!

The Lib Dem plan would bring an end to 12 hour waits and hospital ‘corridor care’ within a year. Our positive solutions would include making more beds available in care homes and hospitals. 

Katie Mansfield said: “For too long people in Hampstead and Highgate have suffered with degrading waits and treatment in hospital corridors. Our NHS staff are working so hard, but they are being let down by this Labour Government. It’s time for real action to fix this.”
