Catherine Hays

Catherine is a truly community minded person. She has chaired her local neighbourhood association for 16 years and was involved in helping the police to set up a Safer Neighbourhood Panel - which she then chaired.

Catherine cares deeply about our local environment and wants to see our streets and amenities properly looked after and enhanced. She is particularly concerned about the state of our street trees. The current approach to pollarding by Camden Council is too often damaging trees, pushing them into decline and, in many cases, leading to their removal. Our trees are part of what makes this area special!
