Belsize councillors launch Camden's first Lib Dem blog

10.06.47am BST (GMT +0100) Fri 9th Jun 2006

Lib Dem councillors in Belsize ward have set up a new website to help stay in touch with local residents.

The site features a 'blog' -- a regularly updated online journal -- which newly-elected Belsize Lib Dem councillors Chris Basson, Arthur Graves and Alexis Rowell will all contribute to.

Recent entries give an insight into how Camden's new Lib Dem-led administration plans to tackle environmental issues such as planning and making cycling safer.

Keeping in regular touch with constituents is a Liberal Democrat hallmark. The new blog is in addition to the Lib Dems' local newsletter, delivered to voters across the ward, face-to-face ward surgeries and other activities in the local community.
